Gold Shwedagon Pagoda is the place where travelers request to visit most in Yangon, it can be considered as a symbol of Myanmar. Until now no one has dared to confirm exactly when this temple was built, many scientists have hypothesized that it has existed more than 2,000 years. At present, Shwedagon Pagoda still preserves four sacred treasures of Buddhism. The pagoda is inlaid with thin gold foils that makes it become extremely attractive and eye-catching, especially in the dawn or sunset. The temple is also decorated with thousands of diamonds and rubies.

- Botataung Temple
After visiting Shwedagon Pagoda, the next tourist attraction must be Botataung Temple, a very attractive landmark in Yangon. This temple is located along the river bank of the city, the name of the temple means a thousand generals because it was built to pray and support for generals in the military of Myanmar. Visitors would be amazed at first impression when coming to Botataung Temple because the ceiling and the walls of the temple are all inlaid with gold.
